Passed to the G.L.A. January 11, 2012, in his 83rd year. Devoted husband to Joyce for over 60 years, Allistair was a founding member of the Hamilton Police Pipe Band. He retired from the Hamilton Wentworth Regional Police in 1987. His mother Lodge was Ionic Lodge No. 549, though he later also affiliated with Hugh Murray Lodge No. 602. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home chapel on Monday, January 16th at 10:30 a.m. Interment Eastlawn Cemetery.
