V.W. Bro. Michael E. Sheridan

V.W. Bro. Mike Sheridan was Initiated in 1951 02 13, passed in 1951 03 03, and raised in 1951 05 05, in Doric Lodge No. 382. and passed away at St. Peter’s Residence at Chedoke, Hamilton, on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the age of 96 years.
Michael was a seventy-three-year member of the former Ancient Landmarks Incorporating Doric Lodge No. 654 (now Landmarks Temple Lodge No. 324). He served 3 terms as the Worshipful Master of the lodge. In 2021 Michael was recognized by the Grand Lodge of Canada in the Province of Ontario for seventy-three years of service for Freemasonry and his community. Michael was also a seventy-one-year member of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Right of Freemasonry in Canada, having attained his 32°. Michael recently received the seventy-year Long Service award from the Valley of Hamilton. Mike was an honourary member of the Carpenters Union Local 18. In his youth, he was an active member of the Hamilton Sea Cadets.
Family and friends may visit at the L. G. Wallace Funeral Home, 151 Ottawa St. N., Hamilton on Friday, November 8, 2024, from 2 - 4 p.m. As per Mike’s wishes, cremation will take place.

With heavy hearts, the family announces the passing away of Bill at St. Joseph's Hospital on Monday, July 1, 2024, at the age of 90 years.
Bill was a lifetime member of the Doric 382 Masonic Lodge and the Scottish Rite, retired after many years from The Hoover Vacuum Company, and, in his youth, was an active member of the Hamilton Sea Cadets. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors and nurses at St. Joseph's Hospital, Juravinski Hospital, and the Hamilton General Hospital for their excellent care, as well as the many staff and friends at Valleytown Residence for their kindness and companionship through the years. Passed away suddenly at his home in Stoney Creek on July 3, 2024, at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Patricia (predeceased). Loving father of Heather (Tom), Ian (Cathy), Bruce, and Glenn (Katie). Proud grandfather of Brandon (Kayla), Steven (Jennifer), Alissa, Ashlyn, Alexah, and Christine. Great-grandfather of Nixon and Georgia. Survived by his sister, Ethel (Bob); and brother-in-law, Robert Carson (Dianne). Alex will be remembered as founding owner of Hamilton Hydronics Ltd., a member of the Shriners Niagara Falls, and an avid car collector. Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Shriners Children's Hospital would be appreciated.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to Visitation at the Marlatt Funeral Home - Swackhamer Chapel, 195 King Street West, Dundas, (905-627-7452) on Thursday, May 2nd from 7:00 - 8:30 pm. The Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held at St. James Anglican Church, 137 Melville Street, Dundas, on Friday, May 3, 2024 at 1:00 pm.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. James Church or the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be appreciated.
