Bro. James Fenton
Hugh Murray Lodge No.602 Passed March 22,2011
Bro. James Fenton passed to the Grand Lodge Above peacefully at St. Peter's Hospital on Tuesday, March 22, 2011, in his 91st year. Jim is survived by his loving wife Myrtle (nee Jenkins) of 68 years, his sister Jean Rakoczy, sisters-in-law June Follick and Helen Fedorovitch, brother-in-law Ted Jenkins and his wife Terry and many nieces and nephews. He will always be remembered as "The Sarg" to his nephews Dan, John, Ted and Peter. Jim was a sergeant with the Hamilton Police Services for 35 years. After retiring, he and his sweetheart enjoyed 20 winters in Florida. Jim was a WWII Veteran, member of the Shriners and an avid golfer his whole life. There will be no visitation, cremation has taken place. A special thanks to staff at St. Peter's 3rd Floor West for their care and compassion to Jim in his final days.
Bro. James Fenton was a long standing member of Hugh Murray Lodge No. 602.
He Passed to the Grand Lodge Above just shy of his being a Mason for 60 years in October.

Visitation at Smith’s Funeral Home, Stoney Creek, on Tuesday 7-9, where funeral service will be held on Wednesday June 9, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. Private Internment, White Chapel Memorial Gardens.

Myers, Florida; former Circulation and Promotion Manager of the Hamilton Spectator; served in the W.W. II overseas campaign from 1939-1945. Passed away at Hampton Terrace, Burlington on Wednesday November 18, 2009 in his 98th year. Visitation at Smith’s Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line, one stoplight north of the QEW on Monday November 23rd, 7-9 pm, Funeral Service Tuesday November 24th, 10:30 am, Reception to follow.
